The Sony Ericsson W890i solid bar 3G mobile offers tremendous value for its neat ultra-thin size (104 x 46.5 x 9.9 mm) and weight (78g) including 2 GB of add-on storage (the internal shared memory is admittedly a miserly 32 MB) and a 3.2 megapixel primary camera.
Striking an excellent balance between music design and business the W890i which features the Walkman 3.0 player with the SensMe feature (the first mobile to offer this) as a new way of browsing music. The player supports MP3 AAC AAC+ E-AAC+ WAV M4A G-MIDI 1 SP-MIDI RealAudio 8 iMelody and XMF file formats and sports the MegaBass equalizer preset.
Although without WiFi and infrared the 890i offers HSDPA UMTS GPRS and HSCSD support for medium to fast data transfers video calls and content-streaming. It also offers the usual connectivity capabilities: USB and wireless Bluetooth with A2DP support. Its Human Interface Device (HID) profile allows the phone to be used as a remote control for PC and other Bluetooth-enabled devices.
